We had lunch at Patrizio last week - our first visit - lovely, well lit restaurant - could have eaten on the patio but didn't realize it - the booth seats are a little worn but still comfortable. Hubby wanted a cold beer but the waiter didn't know what was on draft (?) and I ordered a glass of wine. He had a wonderful creamed corn soup - delicious!! and ordered an eggplant parmesan. I enjoyed a huge house salad and dressing - needed to order a little more dressing and had to wait quite a while for it - a couple of warm pieces of bread came with the soup and salad - nice - but - here's the missing star -the little cup had a warm pat of ""spread"" in it - not butter!!! No spread for nice warm bread. No one asked us if we would like a second drink or a glass of water. Hubby enjoyed his eggplant - huge portion and I ordered the lunch sized meat lasagna - nice size - didn't seem small at all. Both meals were delicious and prepared just right. It would have been nice to have someone replenish the two slices of bread or ask if we needed more beverages but the food was delicious - just lovely food!! And we will certainly go back and take friends - just a couple of wrinkles to work out. Buy some butter...........please!!! Texas Marci

First thing you'll notice is the elegant decor. The service is great, the food is even better. Prices similar to Romano's Macaroni Grill, but better quality food (you can taste the difference). Been there many times & so far the Cajun Chicken Pasta is my favorite. I highly recommend!

I love Patrizio's.

I had been to both of the other Patrizio's in Park Cities (outstanding) and in Plano (good but not outstanding) before so I saved going to the one in Cedar Hill for our anniversary.

It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is classy but you still feel comfortable in jeans. All food is prepared fresh and you can taste the difference.

I started with a side salad which was made with romaine and mixed greens, raw beets, carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes mixed with a fresh house dressing that sort of tasted like ranch dressing with horseradish. As expected, all components were fresh and perfect.

For our entrees, my husband ordered baked ziti with three cheeses. It normally comes with ricotta, which he hates, so they were happy to substitute another cheese and even gave him options. I can't remember the last time that an Italian restaurant allowed an ingredient substitution as they almost always have these dishes already prepared and ready for the oven. I had the artichoke with angel hair, which was a heaping pile of artichoke hearts, fresh mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, and kalamata olives in a white wine sauce. Both entrees were exceptionally fresh, delicious, and large enough for two meals.

Service was great, too.

As other reviews have indicated, Patrizio's is no more expensive than Macaroni Grill but the food is waayy better. I hope that their business continues to grow here.
